So-Called “Liberal Media” Allows Romney Lie on Early Voting to Fester

Mitt Romney is attacking the Obama campaign for suing the state of Ohio for restore right to vote early, as was the case in the 2008 election.

The Romney campaign is arguing that the Obama camp is actually trying to limit military voting. And his supporters are eating the claim up on Facebook, where Romney posted the claim. But as the day goes by even rightwing commentators seem to be realizing that this is simply a lie.

That Liberal Media at Work Again

If you listened to NPR this morning, you might have caught a segment on how the Affordable Care Act affects small businesses. It featured a quote from Joe Olivo, who runs a printing business in New Jersey, who made less than flattering comments about the law. Since January, presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney has actually enjoyed twice as much positive coverage as …

Myth of a Liberal Media Bias: Sunday Political Shows Packed With Republicans

We will touch upon the “Myth of a Liberal Media Bias” frequently on this blog, since it is one of the most powerful lies that conservatives have peddled for three decades. It has drastically shaped how politics is covered in America. Because Republicans have been so successful in convincing a large portion of the public, and the media, to believe there is a Liberal Bias, everyone just takes it for granted that political coverage is tilted to the left. This also affects how the media …
